The Sharon Springs Free Library is the oldest library in Schoharie County. Though small, we proudly serve our community in many ways. The Library is governed by a 12-member Board of Trustees elected by the members of the Library. As of November 2002, the Library is funded by taxes collected by the Town of Sharon.
Residents aged 16 and over may obtain a Library card. Children under 16 must have a parent sign for the card.
New books and regular videos may be borrowed for one week. New videos may be borrowed for 2 days. Other items may be borrowed for two weeks.
Overdue fines on new books will be $0.15/opening day. Other books and audio books will be $0.10/opening day. Video fines are $1.00/opening day.
