Along with all of our reading materials, we are pleased to be able to offer you the following services:

Our local history and genealogy resources are outstanding and have been used by people from all across the country.

Loans of library materials

You may register for a library card at the main desk with identification.

There is a $.25 per week fee for books in our rental section (new books). All other books circulate for two weeks without charge. Overdue books are fined at the rate of $.25 per week.

Videos and DVDs circulate for 1 week and are subject to a $1.00 per day overdue fine.

You may renew materials by phone or in person.

Connecting to the Library Catalog

You may access the Union Catalog of the Mohawk Valley Library System and the Southern Adirondack Library System on the World Wide Web at http://catalog.sals.edu.

Borrowers with a barcoded library card and access to the Internet can place requests for most titles in the catalog directly from home by using our online catalog.
